Moravian Strasser was created in the old Czechoslovakia, exactly in Moravia, through many crossbreed among Florentine, Cropper and country dove. Moravian Strasser is solid, it has a large and prominent breast and its length is double of the breast breadth. Its weight is between 500 and 600 grammes, it has an almost horizontal posture and paws position is medium height. Within Allevamento Poggio di Ponte, Moravian Strasser is in its traditional white coat, with shoulders and tail dabbed black, and the head is totally black.
MAIN FEATURES OF THE BREED
Head: Smooth, in proportion to the body, rounded and large.
Eyes: Iris color varies from orange to red. Contours are narrow, they are red in red and yellow subjects whereas are dark/black in the other coats.
Beak: Medium length. Nostrils are smooth and white.
Breast: Large and deep, rounded. Breastbone is long.
Back: Large, slightly inclined.
Wings: Well close-fitting to the body, they cover the back without coming across each other.
Tail: Is carried on the line of the back and it is closed.
Paws: Medium length and without feathers. Nails shall have the same color of the beak.
Plumage: Well developed and close-fitting to the body.
Coat: Blue with black bars, blue without bars, black, red, yellow, blue-silver without bars, blue-silver with dark bars, red with bars, blue dabbed, blue-silver dabbed.
