Vienna Highflyer is hailing from Austria. This breed has a little, curled up body, an horizontal posture, cubical head and an extremely short beak. Within Allevamento Poggio di Ponte, Vienna Highflyer is in 3 different color varieties: white/black spotted, white/blue spotted and white/red spotted.
MAIN FEATURES OF THE BREED
Head: Little, large, short and high, cubical form. Forehead and the occipital part form together a clear angle.
Eyes: Big, prominent, with dark iris. Contours are flat and they are formed by 2 or 3 red concentric circles.
Beak: Short, thick, edged at the tip, it is large at the head seam. Soft flesh-colored, it is horizontal. Nostrils are smooth.
Breast: Large, rounded and prominent.
Back: Short, large at shoulders-deep and slightly inclined.
Wings: Short and solid.
Tail: Short, slightly inclined.
Paws: Short, solid, with tarsus without feathers. Nail are soft.
Plumage: It is composed by large feathers and it is well close-fitting to the body.
Coat: Black, red, yellow, blue, silver and blue dabbed.
